Estimados Todos
Hi everyone
Hope this email finds you well. I head Latin American operations and student outreach for the Minerva Schools at KGI, a newly launched, accredited university program designed to prepare students to solve complex global problems and become leaders, innovators and global citizens.
Minerva was on the cover of The Atlantic Magazine earlier this year (as well as in Newsweek recently) if you want to learn more about our offering.
I am reaching out to you because I think Minerva could be a great fit for the students you work with at the OMM:
Global approach: Minerva students live and learn in seven of the world’s greatest cities during their time in college (San Francisco, Berlin, Buenos Aires, Bangalore, Seoul, London and Istanbul).
Non-discriminatory admissions and diverse student body – Unlike other top schools, Minerva has no quotas – we accept the best students who apply, regardless of country of origin. As a result, Minerva’s Founding Class is 75% students from outside the United States.
Fair financial aid – Minerva offers financial aid and scholarships identically to international and domestic students. Furthermore, we are happy to offer one full tuition scholarship to a student applying from the OMM. For this, they need to mention in the application (in Lead Source) that they found out about Minerva by this OMM email.
Minerva is indeed very selective, we are looking for the best students globally. Last year we received more than 11 thousand applications and we will have 140 students starting to travel next year to Berlin and Buenos Aires. We plan to enroll a significantly larger pool of outstanding students in the Fall 2016. Our last deadline to start the application is March 15th, 2016, so time is of the essence.
If you think this may appeal to your unique group of students, I would love to have them join one of our information sessions.
I am also happy to answer any questions you (or your students) have directly – let me know.
Hope this email is an unexpected gift for someone great you work with!
Best regards,
Alex
